Position : Commercial
Vehicle Service Manager
The Service Manager is responsible for the overall
performance of the service operation, ensuring high levels of customer
satisfaction, workshop efficiency, service quality, and after-sales
profitability.
Job Responsibilities:
· Manage & Lead the service team, manage
workshop operations, ensure compliance with Principals standards, and
continuously improve service processes and productivity.

Achieve agreed service revenue and
gross-profit targets.
·
Manage the day-to-day operations of the truck
service workshop.
·
Monitor workshop capacity, productivity,
utilization, and turnaround time.
·
Lead and supervise Service Advisors, Workshop
Supervisors, technicians, and support staff
·
Develop service packages and maintenance
solutions to improve customer retention.
· Identify opportunities for additional service
business, including maintenance contracts and preventive maintenance programs.
·
Maintain strong relationships with fleet
customers and key accounts
·
Coordinate with the manufacturer/principal on
technical issues and warranty matters
·
Continuously improving workshop processes,
productivity, and efficiency
·
Coordinate closely with the Parts Manager to
ensure availability of critical service parts
·
Support sales teams in presenting total
after-sales solutions to customers.
·
Prepare regular service operation reports for
management.
·
Maintain a safe working environment within
the workshop.
·
Performing any other tasks as assigned by his
direct Manager.
Education
· Bachelor's/Diploma in Automotive Engineering,
Mechanical Engineering, or related field
Experience:
· 6-8 years minimum experience in commercial
vehicle/truck after-sales, preferably with dealership experience.
· Minimum 3 years in a managerial service role.
Knowledge & Skills:
· Strong knowledge of truck diagnostics, repair
processes, preventive maintenance, and workshop management.
· Experience with fleet customers and service
contracts is preferred.
· Strong leadership, communication,
customer-management, and problem-solving skills.
· Good knowledge of service management systems
and MS Office.
