Position : Service Advisor -Bodyshop
To act
as the primary customer interface for receiving customers coming to the branch
for service. To diagnose or interpret their concerns for vehicle service and
ensure that vehicle service is performed as per company's quality standards.
Job Responsibilities:
- Supervise the activities
in the customer relation and performance within reception area and attend
to customer’s inquiry in person or by telephone.
- Obtain customer
details and vehicle data from systems for vehicle service history.
- Identify service
requirements from the customer and record their requests, complaints and
service expectations accurately and clearly on the repair order.
- Promote sales of
labor, parts and accessories appropriately as an advisor to the customer
where applicable.
- Book in
sufficient work to the workshop, to maintain maximum profit potential.
- Ensure order for
customers requested work advice the customer of repair cost, obtain
signature for requested work and do vehicle condition check, inside and
out.
- Follow-up with
the workshop and advise customers of any delays.
- Inform customers
in the arrival that vehicle needs road test diagnostics request help from
Quality Control Testers to road test with customer.
- Prepare invoice
upon completion of work, check all details have been filled in inclusive
of any sublet repairs and consumables that should be charged.
- On customer’s
arrival explain all details to customer and advice of any notes that have
been written from the workshop.
- Provide
clarification on car maintenance and provide price estimates.
- Advise customer
of any marketing promotions that are active
- Any other
requirements for department head it is from your responsibilities
Education
- Bachelor's
Degree or College Diploma Mechanical Engineering or anything related to
Automobile Mechanic.
Experience:
- Minimum 3-4
years of experience within Similar role in Automotive sector.
Knowledge & Skills:
- Good
communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work
under pressure
- Problem solving
skills
- Strong customer
handling skills
- Knowledge of
computer literacy and Bodyshop Operating procedures.
